On what subject(s) are you an authority?
“Authority” is a strong word—and perhaps not one we’d naturally use to describe ourselves. But if we think of it as having developed deep knowledge and experience in a subject, while always remaining open to learning more, then for us, that subject is economics.
Economics shapes how we understand the world: how resources are allocated, how policy decisions are made, and how people and institutions interact. It’s not just numbers and models—it’s about behaviour, incentives, trade-offs, and impact.
Through teaching, research, and engaging with everyday economic questions, we’ve built expertise in this field. But like any serious discipline, the more you learn, the more you realise how much more there is to understand. Economics is constantly evolving, especially in response to real-world challenges—climate change, inequality, digital transformation, and political shifts.
So while we may not claim to have all the answers, we are committed to asking the right questions, staying curious, and contributing thoughtfully to the economic conversations that matter.
