The legacy we want to be behind

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

First, we aim to contribute to the scholarship in economics and the economics of education—building knowledge that deepens our understanding of education and how it can evolve to meet the needs of new generations and emerging ways of learning. We strive to be part of academic conversations that create real-world impact.

Second, we are committed to outreach economics—making economic concepts more understandable, relevant, and accessible. Economics shouldn’t be an intimidating subject. Our mission is to translate complex ideas into everyday language so that anyone, regardless of background, can grasp how economics shapes their lives and communities.

Through these two paths, we aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, between academia and everyday experience—leaving a legacy of clarity, empowerment, and connection.

But of course, not everything is about work. Our most important legacy is personal: our children. By nurturing and educating the next generation, we hope to contribute to a better, more informed world—one that continues to grow, question, and learn.

  3. Your commitment to advancing scholarship in economics and education is inspiring. As we explore new ways of learning, it’s crucial to instill in students the understanding that their individual success is deeply connected to the well-being of their peers and the strength of their communities. True growth happens not in isolation but through shared experiences and mutual support. By fostering interdependence, we empower students to recognize that collaboration and collective responsibility shape not only their education but also the world they will help build.
